You’ve got mail
“This is not a letter but my arms around you for a brief moment” ~Katherine Mansfield
Who doesn’t love getting a nice surprise via snail mail?
Every day I can’t wait to go to my mailbox. The element of surprise puts a smile on my face and spring in my step. Some days I might only receive bills or junk mail, others there may be something wonderful waiting for me! We live in an electronic age where people prefer email, text, Twitter, you name it. Yet, the most important things in life are still sent via snail mail a majority of the time. Think wedding invitations, baby showers, titles/deeds, birth certificates, cards, love letters, etc.
Every day on Twitter I will be posting my my mailbox findings at InTheMail. I’d love it if you would also share with me your mail some funny/heartwarming stories about mail you’ve received during your life. At some point here maybe I’ll reflect on some of the cool things I’ve received. If you’re not on Twitter, feel free to post a comment here, or email me at: WhatsInTheMail.

I just bought a set of the Frank Sinatra stamps and I’ve been looking for a good excuse to send snail mail!
